Earth's layers

1. The deepest mine in the world is 3.6 kilometers deep.

2. In order to reach the mantle I would have to dig 30 km.

3. If Iwere able to reach the mantle it would be very hot. The rocks would be liquid and in the upper part of the mantle, I would see rocks moving more smoothly than it would at the bottom. As I went towards the outer core it would be even hotter. It would be liquid with different types of metals in it. The inner core would be the hottest of all the layers. Unlike the outer core it would be solid with mainly iron inside. As I made it up to the crust I would see a thin layer of rocks.
